Winter Guard Tuition & Fees

Open House/Audition Fees

$ 35.00 - October 25 (Open House/Audition)
$ 35.00 - November 8 (Open House/Audition)
$ 50.00 - November 20-21 (Final Audition/Rehearsal)

Tuition
- $750.00 (December - March)

Tuition covers the cost of all meals, practice facilities, housing, and professional instructors during the season.  The following items are included in the cost of tuition.

  • 1 season shirt
  • 1 pair of gloves
  • 1 pair of performance shoes


WGI World Championships Trip
- $125 (April)

  • WGI Admission on Saturday, April 10
  • 1 lodging night (April 10-11)
  • Transportation to/from Dayton OH


Additional Rehearsal Fees
- as necessary

In the event that any additional rehearsals are added, there may be a nominal fee attached to help offset the costs of food, facilities, and staffing.

If you have the intent to participate in the 2010 Legends Winter Guard, please adhere to the following payment schedule, postmarked by the dates listed.

Deposit and Contract

The deposit is your intent to participate and will be applied to your tuition once we receive your contract. Please note that a contract may not be issued until after the above dates listed. Upon receipt of your contract, the deposit is non-refundable.

Miscellaneous Fees

Make-up for performances will be required and may incur this additional expense

Member jackets, or any special member items, are additional expenses that are optional

Refund Policy

  • Upon signing of the membership contract, the initial deposit is non-refundable.
  • At each payment date, $150.00 towards tuition/fees becomes non-refundable.
  • Termination AFTER February 5, 2010 all tuition/fees are non-refundable.

Termination due to medical situations

In the event that Legends will dismiss a member due to a medical situation, the refund policy will be adjusted to accommodate both parties based on the situation. Agreement will need to be met with the Executive Director and signing party of this contract.

Early tuition/fee payment discount

If you are able to pay in full by November 20, 2009, you will receive a $50 discount towards your final tuition payment.

Drum & Bugle Corps Incentive

Any Winter Guard member that participates in the Drum Corps will receive a $300 discount towards the Drum Corps tuition for the same participating season.

Limitations

  • Any payments made after the specified date will be assessed a $15 fee.
  • Payment arrangements can be made with a recurring payment source on file and 50% of tuition/fee payments made by February 5, 2010. Necessary documentation required.
  • Legends will notify any/all parties of future activities with other organizations if there is a remaining balance on your account, which may make it not possible to participate in other programs.
  • Member jackets, or any special member items, will not be available until your balance is paid in full.
