Tuition - TBA

Tuition helps to offset the cost of practice facilities, housing, professional instructors, maintenance of equipment, and supplies during the season.  All members will receive a show shirt as part of thier tuition.

We provide lunch during Saturday rehearsals as a part of this fee.  Legends focuses on keeping the members together to help reduce more travel during a meal time AND to encourage member interaction while not at rehearsal.

Meals on performance days will typically be on your own.

Please note that brass members will have a reduced tuition fee to reflect their rehearsal schedule, which is typically a lesser number of commitment dates.  This schedule is determined by the Program Director.

 

Contract Terms and Additional Fees

Rehearsal Weekends, Tuition, and Additional Fees will be clearly laid out in the Financial Agreement and Member Contract. All prospective members will be provided a copy to be signed by the member (and parents, if member is under 18 years of age) which is to be returned at the following rehearsal of when the contract was issued.

 

Drum & Bugle Corps Incentive

Any Winter Guard member that participates in the Drum Corps will receive a discount towards the Drum Corps tuition for the same participating season.

Legends Winter Guard Open House/Auditions
Sunday, October 30 – 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
 
Location:
Stanley Centre
(behind St. Catherine of Siena Church)
1150 West Centre Avenue
Portage, MI 49024
 
The Stanley Centre is its own building behind the St. Catherine of Siena.  Pull into the driveway that enters into the church and drive all the way to the back.  Parking is available adjacent to the Stanley Centre.  Registration will be held in the front lobby at 9:30 a.m.
 
Schedule for October 30 Open House/Audition

9:30 a.m.         Registration
10:00 a.m.       Rehearsal
4:00 p.m.         Dismissal
 

Registration Process:  

  • Submit your RSVP if you are planning on attending.
  • Fill out a Winter Guard membership application (if you have not done so already)
  • Submit the following payment by registration on Sunday, October 30
    • $25 – Open House/Audition Fee (includes lunch)
      Checks made payable to Legends or pay by credit card by visiting www.legendspaa.org/payment 

All registration fees must be paid at or before registration for participation to be allowed at the Open House/Auditions.  Audition fees are non-refundable.
 

What to bring:

  • Comfortable, dark colored clothing that is easy to move in (feet/ankles should be visible)
  • Guard gloves
  • Dance shoes or tennis shoes
  • Riffle and/or sabre (if you have one and are interested in auditioning for these sections)
  • A positive attitude and the willingness to learn!
