The Legends All-Star Band will have 3 summer performance opportunities.  
 
2013 Summer Performance Opportunities include:

  • June 25 – Legends Drum Corps Preview – Kalamazoo, MI
    • Clinic/National Anthem Performance
    • Admission to DCI Event
  • July 1-7 – Chicago Experience
    • Clinic/Parade Performances
    • DCI Event/Downtown Chicago Excursion
  • July 27 – Legends Drum Corps Open – Kalamazoo, MI
    • Clinic/National Anthem Performance
    • Admission to DCI Event

Legends All-Star Band program description
The Legends All-Star Band is an ensemble for current 8th-12th grade students which performs at Parades and select Michigan Drum Corps events during the summer.  This ensemble offers students educational and performance experiences during the summer months.  The All-Star Band is comprised of the following instrumentation:  Flute, Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, Mellophone, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Snare, Tenor, Bass, Cymbals, and Color Guard.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FOOD BOOTH on JUNE 7-9

We are looking for more volunteers to help with the Legends food booth at the Festival of the Arts in Grand Rapids, MI on June 7-9. Please consider volunteering for one or more of the shifts listed below. If you are able to volunteer, please contact Traci at traci@legendspaa.org. All proceeds from this event will help to support the Legends Performing Arts Association and its programs/events.

Legends Percussion: MCGC Independent A State Champions

Congratulations Legends Percussion on a 1st place finish (90.50) in Independent A at the MCGC State Championships!

Also, congratulations to Legends DBC members Nicole Atkinson and Jacob Rechsteiner on receiving the Nick Saputo scholarship!

2012 Drum Corps Production Clip

Here is a 1 minute sample from our 2012 production "The Edmund Fitzgerald".  Visit the DCI store to purchase a DVD copy of the full production along with all other Open Class finalists.  Legends media (audio/video) is also available for purchase on the DCI Fan Network at select events.  All purchases help to support DCI corps.

The Legends Drum & Bugle Corps finished in 8th place at the DCI Open Class Championships and was recognized as the 2012 DCI Open Class Most Improved Corps.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, parents, and supporters for your dedication and continued support of Legends!  We appreciate all of your help and support throughout the season!
